The PGA Merchandise Show offered plenty of options in the apparel arena last week in Orlando, Fla. From new up-and-comer companies to established industry veterans, there were more than enough offerings to grab attention. Here’s a quick look at some of the more notable headliners.
APPAREL NEWCOMERS
Amanda Palmer, niece to legendary Arnold Palmer, unveiled her luxury collection of women’s golf apparel and proves she can truly design not only fashion for off the course, but on, as well. ... Canadian-based Quagmire Golf threw its hat in the ring with apparel for guys and gals of the new generation of golfers and active life stylists. The company’s alternative to traditional golf wear styling is not bound by, or fit for as they say, conventional fairway fashion. ... Sandon Golf debuted its collection and a hang tag that reads, Shirts with Attitude. Made of 100 percent microfiber, the shirts are creative and playful, yet sophisticated and elegant. The line promises to appeal to the amateur golfer as well as the experienced professional.

Aerogreen exhibited its new COMO collection of multi-colored leather, hand-woven premium golf shoes for women. Aerogreen’s line offers classic styling that keeps up with contemporary needs. ... Otabo’s made-to-measure golf shoes, oxfords, trainers, boots and loafers are fitted using 3D digital scans of a player’s foot. This state-of-the-art shoe manufacturer uses luxury leathers and exotic skins to create custom, yes custom, golf shoes. ...

Redspur says “giddy up” with the addition of golf to its equestrian and western business. Accessories include CoolBelts and hand-painted leather belts designed with genuine Swarovski crystals. ... Tee It Up Enterprises enters the women’s golf accessory market with products made from premium leathers, and breathable sports cloth and raincoat fabrics. The company specializes in private label, custom team apparel and accessories, pro shop support and custom designs. ...
